Built on the road-proven V7, it adds the new DMCV8 capsule, a tighter supercardioid pattern and a patented integrated shock mount. At Soundium it is the step up for anyone who already trusts a V7 on stage.

Key Features

DMCV8 capsule: More clarity and natural detail, with a vocal sound that feels finished before you reach for EQ.

Tight supercardioid pattern: Keeps the voice isolated and gives more gain before feedback on loud stages.

Patented integrated shock mount: Cuts handling noise and vibration when the singer moves around.

All-metal body and spring-steel grille: Resists dents and corrosion, and the beveled ring stops the mic rolling off a flat surface.

Switchable internal windscreen: Tames plosives and wind noise, with a spare black windscreen if you prefer it to sE Red.

Gold-plated XLR connector: A secure, low-loss connection from soundcheck to the last encore.

Customer Benefits

The V8 is tuned for live vocals: a crisp, detailed top end, controlled mids and a rounded low end that stays true to the singer's own tone. That means fewer EQ moves at front of house and a voice that cuts through a busy band. The focused pickup keeps monitors and drums out of the vocal channel, while the shock mount and sturdy metal build handle tour after tour. Choose matte Black for a low-key look or Graphite Grey with a fingerprint-resistant finish.

Quick Specs

Type: Dynamic (neodymium magnet, aluminium voice coil)

Polar pattern: Supercardioid

Frequency range: 25 Hz – 21 kHz

Sensitivity: 2.2 mV/Pa (−53 dBV)

Impedance: 300 Ω

Connector: 3-pin male XLR (gold-plated)

Dimensions (Ø × L): 54 mm × 189 mm

Weight: 340 g

In the Box

1 × sE Electronics V8 microphone

1 × mic clip

1 × thread adapter

1 × spare black internal windscreen

1 × soft case

Ideal For

Lead and backing vocals on loud, busy stages

Touring singers and front-of-house engineers who want less EQ work

Speech, broadcast and podcast setups that need strong off-axis rejection

Compatibility

Connects to any mixer, interface or preamp with an XLR input.
